“Mundos Unidos” (“United Worlds”) is Patricia Moreno’s first CD where she introduces herself as a composer, lyricist and arranger of her original songs as a Latin Singer-Songwriter. The EP that contains all original compositions by Patricia, is a statement about her identity as a woman and artist with a mixed heritage background – Austrian and Venezuelan roots. She combines Afrovenezuelan rhythms, elements from Jazz and Pop as well as folkloric melodies from Venezuela. Informed by her European background and singing style she unites different worlds in her art, creating her own unique musical space where everybody is welcome.

Venezuelan trumpet player and Latin Grammy Nominee Chipi Chacón produced “Mundos Unidos” with Patricia at the renowned Jazztone Studios in Valencia in september 2023, contributing his own horn arrangments for Patricia’s Songs, as well as the arrangement for the Salsa ballad “Mariposa Roja”. As special guest Patricia invited Latin Grammy Winning Cuatro Virtuoso Miguel Siso to join her in two of her songs. Mixed and mastered by Grammy Winning engineer German Landaeta at Phaseland Studios in Miami, this EP leaves nothin desired but to enjoy every song on it on repeat.

The album artwork was painted by Miami-based artist Anna Trimmel, who has – just like Patricia – Austrian and Venezuelan roots, capturing perfectly the intercultural vision of Patricia’s project.
